About The Artist
Lisa Strieter is an impressionist painter known for her use of bright, vivid colors. While primarily working in oil paints, she also creates beautiful works in watercolors, taking joy in journaling her travels through art. Her work captures the energy of her subjects, their best qualities shining through with each stroke of the brush.
She prides herself on learning new techniques, studying under notable teachers such as Susan Howe, Jane Hunt, Kathie Odom, Cindy Briggs, Theresa Goesling, Carol Carter, and Mary Whyte. With this love of learning, Lisa carries these skills in teaching and assisting others at a local gallery/studio.
She currently lives in Kentucky with her loving husband, daughter, and her dog, Bruno.
